blog post #001 - we made it!
Obviously not everything turned out exactly like how it's drafted above, but I'm pretty happy with it! Some changes from the
file to here were necessary, and that's just part of the process.
From here, we only go up! You can look forward to things like more blog posts, more art / sketches uploaded, and even some
more surprises I have planned down the line. Hint hint nudge nudge (MERCH) COUGHHH who said that…??!

Is it so weird to say that I never thought I would get to this point? I understand that it might be a little dramatic, but after the
year I've had, it's insane to think that we finally made it to this point.
Even more so after reflecting on my old portfolio designs; now that my frontal lobe has developed and I've got my knack back
for designing, I can confidently say that we landed on something special here. This is about a year and some change in the
making. I had a HORRIBLE stint with my former web designing tool that made me want to straight-up rip my hair out. It was
only recently that I made the decision to switch to where I'm currently hosting after a recommendation, and I couldn't be
happier.
All that to say - this is NOT a template. Like a tried and true Taurus, I'm stubborn as hell and wanted to make sure that this
turned out EXACTLY how I planned it. I started that Illustrator document on August 18th, 2025 and stuck as hard as I could
to those blueprints. I had tossed around some redesigns for my website before that even, but nothing really stuck. It was
trying too hard to be something it just never could be, and I only just now realize that now that this part is finalized.
